Collection of personal data
(1)1Where personal data are collected from a third party, the third party shall, upon request, be informed of the purpose of the collection, provided that the legitimate interests of the data subject are not thereby impaired. 2Where the data are collected on the basis of a legal provision that obliges the third party to provide information, the third party shall be informed of the obligation to provide information, and otherwise of the voluntary nature of their statements. zur Einzelansicht § 5
