Processing for archival, scientific and statistical purposes
(1)Personal data may, within the framework of the purposes referred to in Section 45, be processed in archival, scientific or statistical form, where there is a public interest therein and appropriate safeguards for the rights and interests of the data subjects are provided. Such safeguards may consist of anonymisation of the personal data carried out as promptly as possible, precautions against unauthorised access by third parties or separate processing from other professional tasks, both in spatial and organisational terms.
