Competence
(1)The Federal Commissioner shall be competent for supervising the public bodies of the Federation, including insofar as they participate in competition as public-law undertakings, as well as undertakings insofar as they process data of natural or legal persons for the commercial provision of telecommunications services and the competence does not already arise from Section 29 of the Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act. The provisions of this Chapter shall also apply to processors, insofar as they are non-public bodies in which the Federation holds the majority of shares or the majority of votes and the contracting authority is a public body of the Federation.
(2)The Federal Commissioner shall not be competent for supervising processing operations carried out by the federal courts in the course of their judicial activities.
