§ 15 NDSG
Public awards and honours
(1)1For the preparation of public awards and honours, the competent bodies may process the personal data required for that purpose, including special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation, unless it is known to the competent body that the data subject has objected to the public award or honour or to the associated data processing. 2At the request of the bodies referred to in sentence 1, public bodies may transmit the required data. 3Processing of the personal data for other purposes shall be permissible only with the consent of the data subject; § 6(2) shall not apply.
(2)Articles 13 to 15, 19 and 21(4) of the General Data Protection Regulation shall not apply.
