§ 19 NDSG
Tasks of the supervisory authority
(1)The authority headed by the Land Commissioner for Data Protection shall perform its tasks as supervisory authority under the General Data Protection Regulation also with regard to the provisions of this Part and other data protection provisions.
(2)The authority headed by the Land Commissioner for Data Protection shall be informed at an early stage of plans of the Land, the municipalities, the municipal institutions and joint municipal institutions, the municipal special-purpose associations, and the Bezirksverband Oldenburg and the Regionalverband "Grossraum Braunschweig" for the establishment of automated information systems.
