§ 13 HmbDSG
Public awards and honours
(1)For the preparation of public awards and honours, the competent bodies may process the data required for that purpose, including data within the meaning of Article 9(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, without the knowledge of the data subject. At the request of the bodies referred to in sentence 1, other public bodies may transmit the data necessary for the preparation of the award or honour.
(2)Processing of such personal data for other purposes shall only be permissible with the consent of the data subject.
(3)Paragraphs 1 and 2 shall not apply where the data processing body is aware that the data subject has objected to the public award or honour or to the data processing associated therewith.
(4)There shall be neither an obligation to provide information nor an obligation of the controller to provide access.
