§ 24 HmbDSG
Powers and rights
(1)In addition to the powers conferred by Article 58 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information shall, for the performance of his or her duties, be authorised to have access to official premises at any time. The Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information may delegate this power to his or her staff.
(2)In addition to Article 59 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information shall have the power to inform the public within the scope of his or her competence.
(3)The power to impose fines shall not be vested in the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information with regard to authorities and public bodies, with the exception of the bodies referred to in Section 2(3). zur Einzelansicht § 24
