Restriction of the obligation to erase
(1)In addition to Article 18(1)(b) and (c) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Article 17(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 shall not apply to the extent and for as long as the controller has reason to believe that the erasure of personal data would impair the legitimate interests of the data subject. In such a case, restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 shall take the place of erasure.
