Collection of personal data
(1)Personal data shall only be collected from non-public third parties under the conditions set out in Section 6(2).
(2)Where personal data are collected from third parties, these shall, upon request, be informed of the purpose of the collection, insofar as the legitimate interests of the data subject are not thereby impaired. Where the data are collected on the basis of a legal provision requiring the provision of information, reference shall be made to the obligation to provide information; otherwise, reference shall be made to the voluntary nature of the information. zur Einzelansicht § 5
