Purpose of the Act
(1)The purpose of this Act is to safeguard the right to informational self-determination in the processing of personal data by public bodies. This Act adopts supplementary provisions for the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 1 and for the transposition of Directive (EU) 2016/680 2 .
