Conduct of inspections
(1)The public bodies as well as their processors within the scope of application of this Act shall be obliged to assist the Land Commissioner and his or her staff in the performance of his or her duties. In particular, they shall 1. provide information and grant access to documents and files related to the processing of personal data; special official and professional secrets shall not preclude this, 2. grant access to the official and business premises; the fundamental right to the inviolability of the home under Article 13(1) of the Basic Law shall be restricted to this extent.
(2)Where the competent supreme Land authority determines in an individual case that the disclosure of personal data associated with the access would endanger the security of the Federation or a Land, the rights under paragraph 1 may only be exercised by the Land Commissioner in person or by deputies specifically designated by him or her in writing for that purpose. zur Einzelansicht § 18 Sub-section 5 Administrative fines, criminal provision
