Public awards
(1)For the preparation and conduct of public awards and honours, the competent bodies may process the data required for this purpose, including data within the meaning of Article 9(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, also without the knowledge of the data subject. Processing of such data for other purposes shall be permitted only with the consent of the data subject.
(2)At the request of the bodies referred to in paragraph 1 sentence 1, other public bodies may transmit the data necessary for the preparation of the award or honour.
(3)Paragraphs 1 and 2 shall not apply where it is known to the responsible body that the data subject does not wish to receive public awards or honours or has objected to the data processing required for that purpose.
(4)The provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the duty to inform (Articles 13 and 14), the right of access (Article 15) and the notification obligation (Article 19) shall not apply mutatis mutandis. zur Einzelansicht § 16 Sub-section 4 The Land Commissioner for Data Protection
