Duty to provide information upon collection of personal data
(1)The duty to inform the data subject pursuant to Article 13 or Article 14(1), (2) and (4) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 shall, in addition to the exceptions set out in Article 13(4) or Article 14(5) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, not apply to the extent and for as long as
(2)Where the data subject is not informed in accordance with paragraph 1, the controller shall take appropriate measures to protect the legitimate interests of the data subject, including making the information referred to in Article 13(1) and (2) or Article 14(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 available to the public in a concise, transparent, intelligible and easily accessible form, using clear and plain language. The controller shall record in writing or electronically the reasons for refraining from providing information.
