Transitional provision
(1)The State Commissioner in office at the time of entry into force of this Act shall be deemed to have been appointed pursuant to Section 15(1), sentence 2. His or her legal status shall remain unaffected; Section 17(1), sentence 4, shall apply. The term of office pursuant to Section 15(3), sentence 1, shall be deemed to have commenced on 7 July 2017. Delivery of a certificate of appointment shall not be required.
(2)For the processing of personal data by regulatory authorities insofar as they prosecute or sanction administrative offences and enforce sanctions, the provisions of the Brandenburg Data Protection Act in the version in force on 24 May 2018 shall apply.
