Public awards and honours
(1)In proceedings relating to public awards and honours, the competent bodies and bodies specially authorised by them may process the necessary personal data even without the knowledge of the data subject. The processing of such data for other purposes shall only be lawful with the consent of the data subject.
(2)At the request of the bodies referred to in paragraph 1, other public bodies may transmit the data necessary for the preparation of the award or honour.
(3)The data subject shall, upon request, be provided with information about 1. the data stored about him or her, 2. the origin of the data, 3. the recipients to whom the data are transmitted, and 4. the purpose and legal basis of the processing of the data. Information shall not be provided where it would result in the disclosure of personal data relating to a third person, unless the consent of the third person has been obtained. The form of the provision of information shall be determined at proper discretion.
(4)In proceedings relating to public awards and honours, only Articles 5 to 7, Articles 16 to 18, Chapter IV and Chapter VI of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 shall apply accordingly. zur Einzelansicht § 13
