Restriction of the duty to inform
(1)The controller may refrain from fulfilling its duty to inform when processing personal data pursuant to Article 13 or 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 insofar as and for as long as 1. the information would endanger public security or otherwise be detrimental to the welfare of the Federation or a Land, 2. this is necessary for the prosecution of criminal offences or administrative offences, or 3. the personal data or the fact of their processing must be kept secret pursuant to a legal provision or on account of the rights and freedoms of other persons.
