Administrative offences
(1)Any person who, contrary to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, this Act or another legal provision on the protection of personal data, in relation to personal data that are not publicly known, 1. collects, stores, uses without authorisation, alters, transmits, discloses, makes available for retrieval, or erases such data, or 2. retrieves, inspects, otherwise obtains, or, by pretending false facts, causes the transmission of such data to himself or herself or to others, shall be deemed to have committed an administrative offence. An administrative offence shall also be deemed to have been committed by any person who, under the conditions set out in sentence 1, combines individual details about personal or factual circumstances of a person who can no longer be identified with other information and thereby makes the data subject identifiable again.
(2)The administrative offence may be punished with a fine of up to fifty thousand euros.
