§ 29 DSG NRW
Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Article 77 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679
(1)Any person may, pursuant to Article 77 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, address the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information with the submission that their rights have been violated in the processing of personal data. No disadvantages shall arise for the data subject from invoking the State Commissioner. When exercising the right of complaint by employees of public bodies, the official channels need not be observed.
