Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
(1)Article 77 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 shall apply accordingly. Any person may, pursuant to Article 77 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, address the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information with the submission that their rights have been violated in the processing of personal data. No disadvantages shall arise for the data subject from invoking the State Commissioner. When exercising the right of complaint by employees of public bodies, the official channels need not be observed. The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information shall forward a complaint lodged with him or her concerning processing falling within the competence of another supervisory authority to that supervisory authority without delay. In this case, he or she shall inform the data subject about the forwarding and shall, upon request, provide further support.
