§ 44 DSG NRW
Procedures for transmissions

For this purpose, he or she shall, insofar as reasonably practicable, verify the quality of the data before their transmission or provision. With each transmission of personal data, the controller shall, insofar as possible and appropriate, also include information enabling the recipient to assess the accuracy, completeness, reliability and currency of the data.
(2)Where particular conditions apply to the processing of personal data, the transmitting body shall, in the case of data transmissions, inform the recipient of those conditions and of the obligation to comply with them. The duty to inform may be fulfilled by appropriate marking of the data.
(3)The transmitting body may not apply to recipients in other Member States of the European Union and to institutions and other bodies established under Chapters 4 and 5 of Title V of the Third Part of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union 2012/C 326/01 (OJ C 326 of 26.10.2012, p. 1) any conditions that do not also apply to corresponding domestic data transmissions.
