§ 70 DSG NRW
Transitional provision
(1)Upon the entry into force of this Act, the existing official relationship of the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information shall be converted into one under this Act. Her status under civil service law shall remain unaffected.
(2)By way of derogation from Section 53, the provisions on processing records and documentation from Sections 8 and 10(3) of the Data Protection Act of North Rhine-Westphalia in the version of the announcement of 9 June 2000 (GV. NRW. p. 542) in the version applicable until 24 May 2018 shall apply until 6 May 2023 to procedures for automated processing of personal data introduced before 6 May 2016 within the scope of Part 3 of this Act.
(3)By way of derogation from Section 55, the provisions on logging pursuant to Section 10(2) of the Data Protection Act of North Rhine-Westphalia in the version applicable until 24 May 2018 shall apply until 6 May 2023 to procedures for automated processing of personal data introduced before 6 May 2016 within the scope of Part 3 of this Act.
