Appointment and term of office
(1)The state parliament shall elect, without debate, on the proposal of the state government, the State Commissioner for Data Protection with the majority of its members. The candidate should, in addition to the required experience and expertise, in particular in the field of the protection of personal data, possess the qualification for judicial office or for the higher administrative service or be qualified for another career in the higher service.
(2)The person elected shall be appointed by the President of the state parliament. He or she shall be sworn into office before the state parliament.
(3)The term of office of the State Commissioner for Data Protection shall be six years. Re-election shall be permitted twice. zur Einzelansicht § 22
