Tasks, Obligations to Cooperate
(1)The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information shall perform the tasks pursuant to Articles 57 and 59 of the General Data Protection Regulation. In doing so, he or she shall monitor compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, this Act and other data protection provisions.
(2)The supervision by the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information shall not extend to the members of the Court of Auditors of Rhineland-Palatinate insofar as they act in their audit and advisory activities within the framework of their judicial independence.
(3)The Land Government shall take a position on the activity report of the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information pursuant to Article 59 of the General Data Protection Regulation within six months vis-a-vis the Landtag.
(4)The public bodies shall be obliged to support the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in the fulfilment of his or her tasks. zur Einzelansicht § 16
