§ 24 LDSG RP

Administrative Offences

(1)An administrative offence shall be committed by any person who, contrary to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, this Act or another legal provision on the protection of personal data, in respect of personal data that are not publicly known, 1. collects, stores, uses without authorisation, alters, transmits, discloses, makes available for retrieval, establishes the personal reference or erases them, or 2. retrieves, inspects, obtains them, or by pretence of false facts causes their transmission or disclosure to themselves or others. An administrative offence shall also be committed by any person who, under the conditions referred to in sentence 1, combines individual details about the personal or factual circumstances of a person who is no longer identifiable with other information and thereby renders the data subject identifiable again.
(2)The administrative offence may be punished with a fine of up to fifty thousand euros.
(3)No fines shall be imposed on public bodies. This shall not apply to public bodies pursuant to Section 2(4), insofar as the processing takes place in the course of an activity in which the public body competes with other processors. zur Einzelansicht § 24
