Processing for Special Investigation Purposes
(1)Where the Senate commissions experts or other agents to investigate matters of particular public interest that concern the performance of tasks by the public bodies competent for the prevention, investigation, detection, prosecution or sanctioning of criminal offences or administrative offences, including the protection against and the prevention of threats to public safety, as well as the task of the protection of the constitution, the processing of personal data by these experts or other agents shall be permissible insofar as it is necessary for the fulfilment of their tasks. The provisions on the processing of special categories of personal data shall remain unaffected.
(2)The experts or other agents shall, notwithstanding their reporting obligations vis-a-vis the Senate, also be obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding all matters that come to their knowledge in the exercise of their activities after the end of the commission. zur Einzelansicht § 35a
