§ 60 BlnDSG

Procedures for Transmissions

(1)The controller shall take appropriate measures to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate or no longer up to date are not transmitted or otherwise made available. To this end, the controller shall, insofar as this is possible with reasonable effort, verify the quality of the data before their transmission or provision. In each transmission of personal data, the controller shall also, insofar as this is possible and appropriate, include information enabling the recipient to assess the accuracy, completeness and reliability of the data and their currency.
(2)Where specific conditions apply to the processing of personal data, the transmitting body shall, in the case of data transmissions, draw the recipient's attention to those conditions and the obligation to observe them. The obligation to draw attention may be fulfilled by appropriately marking the data.
(3)The transmitting body shall not apply, to recipients in other Member States of the European Union or to institutions and other bodies established under Chapters 4 and 5 of Title V of Part Three of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, conditions that would not also apply to corresponding domestic data transmissions. zur Einzelansicht § 60
