§ 28 HDSIG
Data Processing by the Hessischer Rundfunk
(1)for Journalistic Purposes
(2)Where the journalistic processing of personal data leads to the publication of replies by the data subjects, such replies shall be included with the stored data and shall be retained for the same period as the data themselves.
(3)The Broadcasting Council shall appoint a Data Protection Commissioner who shall monitor, free from instructions, the implementation of para. 1 and other data protection provisions in the journalistic field. Any person may approach this Commissioner if he or she believes that his or her rights have been violated in connection with the processing of personal data for journalistic purposes. The Data Protection Commissioner shall address objections to the Director General and shall simultaneously inform the Broadcasting Council. Supervisory authority over the Commissioner shall rest with the Administrative Board.
(4)The Data Protection Commissioner to be appointed under para. 2 may also be assigned the tasks under § 7. zur Einzelansicht § 28
