§ 69 HDSIG
Quality Assurance of Personal Data Prior to Their Transfer
(1)The controller shall take appropriate measures to ensure that inaccurate as well as unjustifiably incomplete or no longer up-to-date personal data are not transferred or otherwise made available. For this purpose, the controller shall, insofar as possible with reasonable effort, verify the quality of the personal data before their transfer or provision. With each transfer of personal data, the controller shall, insofar as this is possible and appropriate, include information enabling the recipient to assess the accuracy, completeness and reliability of the data and their currency.
(2)Where special conditions apply to the processing of personal data, the transferring body shall, in the case of data transfers, draw the attention of the recipient to the fact that those conditions apply and must be observed. The obligation to provide such notice may be fulfilled by marking the data accordingly.
(3)The transferring body may not apply conditions to recipients in other Member States of the European Union or to institutions and other bodies established under Chapters 4 and 5 of Title V of Part Three of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union that would not also apply to corresponding domestic data transfers. zur Einzelansicht § 69
