§ 67 HDSIG

Distinction Between Different Categories of Data Subjects

(1)The controller shall, when processing personal data, distinguish as far as possible between the different categories of data subjects. This shall relate in particular to the following categories: 1. persons against whom there is a well-founded suspicion that they have committed a criminal offence, 2. persons against whom there is a well-founded suspicion that they will commit a criminal offence in the near future, 3. convicted offenders, 4. victims of a criminal offence or persons with regard to whom certain facts give rise to the belief that they could be the victim of a criminal offence, and 5. other persons such as in particular witnesses, informants or persons who are in contact or association with the persons referred to in nos. 1 to 4. zur Einzelansicht § 67
